DATA, NOT GUESSWORK

Know what
the dates mean.

Current preview: checked snapshots

This isolated local overlay preserves 45 existing dated source records from Waves 1 through 6 and keeps five ongoing-place or venue-policy rows separate. Forty-two records are candidates before date and freshness filters. Two unconfirmed Seoul locations and one performance without source-defined sessions are withheld. One confirmed permanent collection is displayed separately. This is a browser view transform, not a WordPress or database import, new research production, a citywide unique total, live API results or ticket inventory. Record cards retain the captured source-check time.

Overlap is not daily availability

A record matches when its announced dates overlap your trip. Exact performance sessions and weekly performance patterns are handled separately. Permanent collections have no invented dates and are excluded from date-search totals. Known Monday closures are excluded where checked. Missing branch hours remain unverified. Museum public-holiday exceptions and temporary closures are not inferred. Festival program dates may differ within the festival window.

Official feed prepared, not activated

Seoul’s culturalEventInfo dataset states daily updates and KOGL Type 1 attribution, allowing commercial use and modification. An issued API key and verified encrypted transport are still required. The connector is disabled by default. Automated imports remain drafts until editorial review and retain Korean source titles if no English title has been reviewed.

Freshness and failures

Each record has a retrieved timestamp. After 48 hours, cards show a recheck warning; after seven days they are removed from new shortlist results. A failed import never receives a fresh success timestamp and does not replace the last valid records with invented or empty data. These are internal conservative gates, not a source-provider promise.

Sources and image rights

Official titles, dates, venues and prices are linked to their source. Event posters are not copied automatically. Stock photos are not evidence of a particular event or today’s conditions. AI illustrations remain explicitly labelled.

Advertising is separate

Sponsor records are independent WordPress content, never official-event data. Active sponsorship requires an explicit advertising label and a reviewed placement/date window. No sponsor is active in this preview. No AdSense script is installed; Google approval is a separate prerequisite, not a result of this design.

WordPress is the operational target

This deliverable is a functional private website review. It does not modify a WordPress database, activate an API, or deploy to real hosting. Production WordPress migration, hosting and administrator functions remain separate approval-gated steps.

Before travelling

Open the official source, confirm your date and opening/session time, check age/ID and accessibility requirements, then use the organiser’s own booking channel. Koreafolio does not book, reserve, sell tickets or guarantee admission.

Seoul municipal cultural-space snapshot: 1090 original rows, 1087 name-and-address-distinct entries. Three duplicate rows are merged only in the display; original bytes and conflicting fields are preserved. A registry update is not proof of each venue’s current operation.

Hotel pins use operator-exposed coordinates. Unknowns remain null. Official image-file reuse rights were not established, so those images are linked at source, not embedded. Maps are offline coordinate overviews without live street, transit or booking connections.
