Short answer: The paid observation deck and the lakeside are separate plans with separate rules. The deck is ticketed and has operating hours and a last-entry time. The lake is a public waterside area. Decide which you want, then check each on its own.

| Your plan | What it involves | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Paid observation deck only | Ticketed SEOUL SKY admission | Ticket category, hours and last admission for your date, any package terms |
| Lakeside only | Seokchon Lake’s waterside walking paths | Current path conditions and your access needs |
| Both | Deck plus lakeside | All of the above, and the order and timing between them |
1. What you are visiting
Seokchon Lake has an east lake and a west lake divided by Songpa-daero, with waterside walking paths, according to the Songpa-gu government. That page’s index entry shows a modification date of 2020-10-20, so use it for geography, not for current path conditions. Paid attractions near the lake are not automatically part of free public-path access.

2. Ticket categories and package terms
On the operator’s Korean ticket page, an ordinary adult ticket (age 13 and over) was KRW 33,000 and a child ticket (36 months through age 12) was KRW 29,000 on 2026-10-04 (SEOUL SKY tickets). These are observed prices and may change, so confirm at purchase. The same page states:
- A tower-plus-aquarium package must be used at both venues on the same day. Once one venue has been used, there is no partial refund.
- Copied or captured tickets cannot be used for admission.
If you are choosing a package, decide on both venues before buying.
3. Hours and last entry: use your own date
The operator’s hours calendar is date-specific. On 2026-10-04 it showed opening at 10:30 and closing at 23:00, and ticket sales and admission ending one hour before closing (SEOUL SKY hours). For that date, the last admission was therefore 22:00.
That is one date’s result, not a rule for any weekday. Select your visit date on the operator’s calendar and work out last admission from that day’s closing time. If your ticket is timed, follow the arrival instructions on the ticket or confirmation.
4. Walking between the tower and the lake
Before you commit to doing both, confirm the walk on an up-to-date map, since no walking time or route is verified here. If you need step-free access, ask the operator about the deck, and check current conditions for the specific lakeside segment you plan to use with Songpa-gu or a current map. Do not treat promotional or AI-generated tower images as evidence of views or routes.

5. Weather and views
Views depend on conditions that cannot be promised. Check a forecast close to your date, and decide beforehand whether you would still go if visibility is poor. If you have a timed or non-refundable ticket, check its terms before relying on a flexible plan.

6. Getting back
Check public-transport or taxi options for your finishing time, especially if you stay until closing. Look up official transit information for your date, since returning late changes which services are available.
