Privacy Policy
How Koreafolio handles website information.

1. Who we are
This policy describes the information handled when you use Koreafolio, operated by Vector International. For a privacy question, contact contact@koreafolio.com. It covers our website, not the separate services you reach through external links.
2. Information involved in browsing
Your browser sends information needed to load a website, such as an IP address, requested page address, browser information and request time. Hosting and security services may process technical request records to deliver pages, investigate failures and protect the website. We do not ask you to provide a passport, payment card or travel booking to read our public guides.
3. Saved plans and browser storage
The trip planner stores selected items in local storage in the browser you use. These saved selections are not an account-synchronised itinerary and are not automatically shared with Koreafolio or other visitors. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes locally saved plans. Downloads are saved on your device; you decide whether to share them. If local storage is blocked, saving may not work.
4. Accounts and cookies
Public guides can be read without signing in. Restricted WordPress account areas use authentication and related cookies when you sign in. Account access is separate from browsing the public site. Browser settings let you inspect, block or remove cookies and local storage; doing so may sign you out or remove a saved plan. Restricted community features currently save their preview content in browser storage rather than publishing it to other visitors.
5. Contact and correspondence
An email link opens your email application. A proposal email draft is not a server-submitted enquiry: you review and send it yourself. If you send us an email, we receive your address, message and any attachments through our email service. We use that information to review and respond to the enquiry. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. We have not published a fixed retention period; you may contact us about access or deletion of correspondence, subject to any records we need to retain.
6. External websites, images and service requests
Opening a hotel, retailer, transport or booking link takes you to that provider’s website and privacy practices. Some photographs load from an external image host, which receives a browser request to deliver the image. Transport lookup features send the selected stations and timetable parameters to the relevant official transport service through our website. Availability and operation of these external services are outside our control. Do not enter personal information into a third-party service unless you are comfortable with its terms.
7. Affiliate links
Klook links identified as affiliate links use Koreafolio’s issued partner redirect. Clicking one passes through Klook’s affiliate service before opening Klook. The provider may use cookies or similar technology to attribute a qualifying booking; its privacy and cookie policies govern that activity. We may receive a commission, but do not receive your payment card details through these links. Other providers are ordinary links unless identified otherwise. See our affiliate disclosure.
8. Advertising and Google services
Google advertising and Google Analytics tags are not currently enabled in the reviewed public website code. This statement does not describe an external provider’s website. If Google advertising is introduced, we will update this policy and provide the relevant consent controls before enabling it where required. Advertising partners may then use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to deliver, measure or personalise advertising. 9. Your choices and security
You can clear website storage, restrict cookies, avoid external links and choose what to include in correspondence. Contact us with a specific privacy request so we can assess it. We use reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee that every internet transmission or external service is secure. This website is intended as general travel information and does not require children to submit personal information.
