TRAVEL WITH CONFIDENCE
Useful information.
Clear sources.
Where our travel information comes from, what to check before you go, and how to tell us when something has changed.
Start with the official information
Koreafolio brings practical travel guidance together so you can plan your visit with less guesswork. We use official tourism offices, local authorities, transport operators, museums, venues and service providers for information about places, journeys and events. Relevant pages include links that let you check the original information.
Check your date before making the journey
Opening hours, special exhibitions, performances and transport schedules can change. Before travelling, check the official venue or operator for your exact date, the final admission time and any closure or reservation requirements. A place listed in a directory may have changed its opening arrangements since the information was collected.
Events and places answer different questions
An event has an announced date or programme. A museum, park or gallery is a place you may be able to visit on many dates. We keep these separate so a place listing is not mistaken for a current performance or exhibition. An event that overlaps your trip still needs a check of its actual session times and ticket availability.
Use maps to plan, then check the journey
Our place maps help you understand where attractions are in relation to each other. For the journey itself, check a current navigation service or the transport operator. Confirm the entrance, station exit, walking route and final connection—especially when travelling late, carrying luggage or needing step-free access. A nearby map pin does not guarantee a convenient entrance or an accessible route.
Understand the photographs
Photographs help you discover places and understand travel choices. Some show earlier conditions, and category pictures may illustrate a travel idea rather than a particular product or hotel room. AI illustrations are labelled. Confirm the actual room, item or experience on the provider’s listing before booking. Detailed photograph acknowledgements are collected on our Photo credits page.
Booking and shopping happen with the provider
When you follow a booking or shopping link, the provider handles availability, payment, delivery, cancellation and refunds. Read their final terms before paying. A link in this guide does not mean we have made a reservation for you. Advertising and affiliate relationships, when active, are disclosed separately.
